The Centre

The lovely 39 place service in Bangor is looking for a Diploma Educator or an experienced Certificate III Educator to join their team on a full-time basis. The centre follows a play-based approach and educators are encouraged to create nurturing environments aligning with the Early Years Learning Framework.

The Role

Your role as an Assistant Educator will include responsibilities as follows:

• Assisting and working alongside the Room Leader and the other educators to implement high quality programming leading to successful learning outcomes for the children
• Communicate positively with the children and families
• Contribute to programming and children's observations
• Be reliable, respectful and work constructively with your colleagues and other professionals

About You

To be successful in this position you must have:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education OR working towards Diploma OR ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification (also open to a strong Cert III with minimum 1-2 years of experience)
• Current Working with Children’s Check
• Recent Child Protection/Safeguarding training
• Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
• Food Handling Certificate
• Understanding and knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
• Unrestricted working hours
